Why General Electric Decided To Enter the Digital Photo World – PMA Las Vegas 2007

General Electric is one of the best known brands in the world, with one of the highest approval ratings. So why did they decide to enter the world of digital photography? In this interview with Rene Buhay, we learn how the landscape of consumer digital photography changed overnight with GE’s decision to grant a license to market GE branded cameras to General Imaging and in the process becoming a player in what seems like an already crowded field. We sent their new G1 camera to Italy with our reporter Regina Barthmaier to give it a serious try, and 500 photos later, a lot of abuse, she gives it a serious thumbs up! Bella Bella!
