Painting with Corel Painter X with Don Seegmiller! – Siggraph 2007

Corel Painter X is one of the most powerful tools ever created for the digital artist, and in this interview with Corel Painter Master Don Seegmiller we discuss the new features of Painter X, his approach to education, and the refinement of painting and drawing in the digital age. Author of Digital Character Design and Painting, Seegmiller is a well-known artist in the concept art and game developer communities whose captivating images have been featured in games, books, magazines and galleries around the world. He is also an adjunct professor at Brigham Young University and has learned what works best when teaching a digital workflow for the artist. If you are working with Corel Painter, or teaching digital art, then don’t miss this interview! Recorded at the Siggraph/ACM Conference in San Diego, California, in August 2007 by Harris Fogel.
