Nine Year Old Author Adora Svitak and Verizon Foundation’s Michelle Robinson Tell Why Verizon’s Thinkfinity.org site should be on every teacher’s bookmark list! – NECC Conference, Atlanta 2007

During the NECC Conference in Atlanta, nine year old Adora Svitak teamed with actor James Earl Jones to create a modern retelling of a fairy tale using input from the audience. A writing prodigy, she authored Flying Fingers: Master the Tools of Learning Through the Joy of Writing at the age of 7! Adora was joined by the Verizon Foundation’s Michelle Robinson, who explains what their Thinkfinity site is, and how it benefits educators throughout the country. Verizon has spent 31 million dollars to support this effort, and if you are interested in the intersection of technology and teaching, then listen in!
